Project #5 - 18641 Gold Circle
“English Pub with a Twist”
Directions: From W. Center Road go North on S. 180th Street. Turn left onto Center Ridge Dr. and continue as it winds through “The Ridges”. Turn right on Gold Circle. Home will be at the end of the cul-de-sac.
Decorative details and personal touches are evident through-out the custom lower level – painted faux finishes, gargoyle hardware, gothic-style light fixtures, custom stone & porcelain tile applications, recessed niches for TV – A/V equipment, oil-rubbed bronze finishes, antique copper vessel bowl and trough sinks. Bronze fleur-de-lis are stenciled on the ceiling above the leather sectional, and intricate hand-stained motifs on stair risers and hand-rail. An iron-gate adorned with skulls gives a unique twist to the “English pub” style of the bar.
A custom soffit inlaid with embossed paper conceals wine bottle storage, and repeats the curve of the expansive bar. Stacked-stone not only wraps structural support posts in the finished basement, but also accents the entertainment center, fireplace surround, and bar back-splash. Brushed Granite with a rock-edge complements the stone materials used throughout.
Thoughtful spatial planning provides homeowners distinctive areas – an extensive bar, hearth room, entertainment center, bath, and office. The centrally located L-shaped staircase is opened to showcase stone columns, built-in desk, floating shelves and pass-through counter-top.
